The elongated wing building running parallel to the suburban church was built at the same time as the church from 1737 to 1743 and served as a Jesuit college until the Jesuit order was abolished in 1773. The college then served as the salt office to the Hungarian border and was later relocated to Wiener Strasse 60 as the forerunner of the Zollegstätt barracks . From 1783 to 1903 the college served as the Wiener Neustadt troop hospital , from 1904 to 1990 as the Wiener Neustadt City Museum , and since 1992 has been the city archive through an exchange of use.
