history
aquatherm was founded in 1973 by Gerhard Rosenberg as a company for the development, production and installation of hot water underfloor heating . At that time aquatherm was one of the first three suppliers of underfloor heating systems on the European market. Gerhard Rosenberg handed over the management of the company to his sons Dirk, Maik and Christof in 2010. Since then he has acted as chairman of the advisory board.
Systems
In 1980 the company developed a plastic piping system made of polypropylene for sanitary and heating installations. On April 13, 2000 the fiber composite pipe developed by Gerhard Rosenberg was registered for an international patent . These pipes, which are manufactured using the multi-layer extrusion process, have increased stability due to the fiber filling in the middle layer. The products sold in 75 countries around the world include piping systems for supply technology, air conditioning, heating and systems technology, as well as industrial water and sprinkler applications. Systems for room air conditioning in walls and ceilings for new buildings and renovations as well as drinking water and radiator connection systems for sanitary and heating areas as well as surface heating systems for residential, office, industrial and sports facilities are also part of the company's program.
