If three books or more have been read, the pupils receive confirmation of participation by issuing a certificate, which is usually awarded at a final event to which all participants are invited. Participation in the SLC can be noted as an extracurricular performance on the next school report.

In addition to the summer reading club, there is the reading spring, a series of events for children aged 4 to 12 years, which is carried out in cooperation with the Bielefeld City Library .

“Step by Step - Letter Fit” is a project with offers for different grade levels. The aim of the individual events is to get to know the library and its offers better. Routines such as loan, return and research are practiced. One medium is in the foreground at every appointment. In a playful way, children learn to enjoy reading and reading is encouraged.
