City bus Leutkirch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Leutkirch city bus is a public transport system in the large district town of Leutkirch in the Allgäu ( Ravensburg district in Baden-Württemberg ), which was introduced in 1986.

The Leutkirch city bus system essentially consists of an approximately 20 kilometer long ring line , which, however, has the shape of an eight. This opens up the entire Leutkirch urban area by means of two loop journeys. As a result, the peripheral residential and industrial areas - including the Nibelsiedlung , the Pfingstweide settlement and the Repsweihersiedlung - are connected to the core city and Leutkirch train station . The rural districts that were incorporated in the 1970s are not integrated. The Leutkirch city bus also bears the line designation 133 , the two circular routes of the ring line are also differentiated according to the respective direction of travel:

Circuit 1 counter clockwise
Circuit 2 clockwise

On January 1, 2004, the Leutkirch city bus was integrated into the newly created Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund (bodo) (i.e. bodo tickets have been recognized since then). The bus company Hutter Reisen GmbH (Sudetenstr. 19, 88299 Leutkirch), which has been in existence since 1926, is responsible for the Leutkirch city bus , which operates the city bus service on behalf of the city of Leutkirch and also has the concession for route 133. This is the only line concession of Hutter Reisen GmbH , otherwise the company only operates regular services on behalf of DB ZugBus Regionalverkehr Alb-Bodensee (e.g. on the RAB line 7551 to Isny im Allgäu ).
