The Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund, or Bodo for short , connects the Lake Constance district and the Ravensburg district. The composite is a management company, the benefits of public transport sold (public transport) and coordinated. bodo does not operate its own buses and trains. The transport services are provided by the transport company. The shareholders of the GmbH are the Bodenseekreis , the Ravensburg district and the 20 transport companies and their associations. On January 1, 2018, the Bavarian district of Lindau joined the transport association. The partnership agreement for this was signed on May 10, 2017.

In the Bodensee-Oberschwaben transport association, 19 transport companies with over 240 train and bus routes are involved in local public transport. Other transport companies operate on behalf of these companies. In 2016 over 33.6 million passengers were carried. The fare income amounts to € 34.9 million gross.
