Landshut transport association

The Landshuter Verkehrsverbund (LAVV) , also Zweckverbund Landshuter Verkehrsverbund, is a public corporation in the Landshut region . Association members are the city of Landshut and the district of Landshut . It was founded on November 14, 2018.
A common tariff applies to all bus companies. The German Bahn AG is not integrated into the tariff.

history

After a transport policy decision in 2014 to promote public transport in the Landshut region, representatives of the city and the Landshut district, the transport companies involved, the Bavarian Railway Company (BEG), the government of Lower Bavaria and the Regionalmanagements Landshut worked out a joint tariff together with the engineering office gevas humberg & partner.
Numerous hurdles have been cleared since then.
The timetables were coordinated between the private transport companies and the large transport companies, Regional Busse Ostbayern (RBO) and Stadtwerke Landshut.
The uniform appearance and the distribution of income and the introduction of the new tariff system have been prepared.
On November 1, 2018, the Landshut transport association began its final work.
