The Verkehrsverbund Neckar-Alb-Donau GmbH abbreviated naldo , is an association of counties Reutlingen , Tübingen , Sigmaringen and the Zollernalb district and the 53 transport companies in the region for the public transport (public transport).

There is a special city tariff in 26 cities and municipalities. The transport association was founded in January 2002 and currently comprises 53 transport companies on road and rail. The actual tariff area covers 3,700 km² and has around 828,000 residents; there are also cooperations with the neighboring associations VVS , DING , bodo , TUTicket , VVR and VGF

In 2018, almost 73 million passengers were carried, with fare income of 65.6 million euros.

The managing director is Dieter Pfeffer, the chairman of the supervisory board is the district administrator of the Sigmaringen district, Stefanie Bürkle . Former supervisory board chairmen were Thomas Reumann , district administrator of the Reutlingen district and Willi Fischer , district administrator a. D. of the Zollernalb district.

Traffic Company

Rail transport in the naldo is mainly carried out by DB ZugBus Regionalverkehr Alb-Bodensee GmbH (RAB) , a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG , and Hohenzollerische Landesbahn AG (HzL) on behalf of the respective customer.
