history

The company was founded in 1931 by Albert Rexer, who set up a regular service between Agenbach and Calw with one vehicle . In 1963 the company was handed over to the second oldest daughter Elsbeth Rexer-Ayasse. As one of the first bus companies, Rexer organized trips to Greece in the 1960s. It published its first travel catalog in the late 1970s.

Arno Ayasse, the grandson of the company founder, has been running the business since 1996. At that time, Rexer had 11 buses.

In 2010 the company Schöttle-Reisen from Neuweiler was bought; In 2012, the insolvent companies Nagoldtal-Reisen from Nagold and the bus division of Rübenacker from Altensteig , which are continued as Verkehrsbetriebe Nagoldtal (VBN) and Busverkehr Nordschwarzwald (BVN), were taken over. The Rexer Group's vehicle fleet grew to over 100 buses.

In the tender for the transport services in line bundle 6 " Zabergäu " of the Heilbronn district, Rexer was awarded the contract and operated the local bus routes from July 1, 2018 to July 31, 2020 together with subcontractors. Rexer also received the contract for 37 percent of the mileage on the lines of the municipal transport company Esslingen (SVE) from July 1, 2018.

At the end of 2019, the company planned to give up travel and concentrate on regular services.
