The Verkehrsverbund Schwarzwald-Baar ( VSB ) is an amalgamation of all modes of public transport in the Black Forest-Baar district of Baden-Württemberg and was founded in 2000. The traffic area covers the entire district with 1,025 km² with 210,000 inhabitants. In 2015 more than 11 million passengers were carried. Stefan Preuss is the managing director of the group.

The VSB is also a participant in the KONUS program . With the Konus guest card, holidaymakers in the Black Forest can travel to their destination, the starting point for the hike or ski tour, etc. free of charge.

Ringzug tariff cooperation

The regional tariff cooperation Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg was agreed with the neighboring associations Verkehrsverbund Rottweil and TUTicket on September 1, 2003 , so that a joint transitional tariff applies for journeys within the three associations. This transitional tariff has been marketed under the name 3 tariff since August 1, 2008.
