The Verkehrsverbund Rottweil ( VVR ) is a transport and tariff association in the Baden-Württemberg district of Rottweil .
The association was founded on August 1, 2003 by public transport companies in the Rottweil district. He controls and coordinates local public transport in the Rottweil district. Thanks to the association, buses and trains are available with one ticket and uniform prices. The network area covers 769 km² with 150,000 inhabitants. In 2008, 9.8 million passengers were carried. This corresponds to an increase of 2.9% compared to the previous year, although the numbers in school traffic were down.

The transport network consists of over 50 bus routes and three rail routes.
Card offer & tariffs
The range of tickets offers the usual tickets from single tickets to day, week and monthly tickets to annual tickets, which are the cheapest for frequent travelers. Also Baden-Wuerttemberg ticket and Baden-Württemberg Ticket Single be recognized in all transport.
The VVR has joined forces with the neighboring associations TUTicket and Verkehrsverbund Schwarzwald-Baar to form the regional tariff cooperation Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg with uniform tickets for journeys across districts. With the Naldo , the tariff community Ortenaukreis (TGO) and the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Freudenstadt there are also transitional regulations.
A special feature of the VVR is the trial ticket for new residents : Newcomers to the district can test buses and trains free of charge for two weeks on presentation of the confirmation of registration.
The VVR is a participant in the KONUS program . CONE stands for the KO Stenlose NU estimation of public transport for S chwarzwaldurlauber. With the Konus guest card, overnight Black Forest holidaymakers can head for their destination, the starting point for the hike or the ski tour for free. This guest card is financed through a flat fee of 30 cents per night.
