The Heilbronner Hohenloher Haller transport ( HNV even H3NV ) is a transport association in the field of independent city Heilbronn , the district Heilbronn and Hohenlohekreis . Furthermore, there are tariff overlap areas in the districts of Schwäbisch Hall , Main-Tauber , Rhein-Neckar , Ludwigsburg and in the Neckar-Odenwald district .

The network is part of the scope of the Metropolticket Stuttgart .

Composite history

The HNV was created on January 1, 1997 as the Heilbronner Verkehrsverbund for the city and the district of Heilbronn with the aim of a uniform tariff for trains, buses and the trams to be introduced . The HNV was preceded by local tariff associations of various transport companies (e.g. Zügel / RBS / Bahn in the Weinsberger Tal ). Tariff transition zones with the neighboring associations NVH , VRN , KVV and VVS were gradually implemented, the most significant is the area of overlap with the VRN for border traffic to Sinsheim , Mosbach and Osterburken .

The composite structure

On April 1, 2005, the new HNV was created with the core area of the old Heilbronner Verkehrsverbund (HNV) and the Hohenlohekreis local traffic , including parts of the Schwäbisch Hall district traffic . The abbreviation H3NV is also used primarily by the new partners for marketing purposes. There are 20 transport companies involved in the network, which serve 160 bus and train lines in the HNV. In 2007 around 45.9 million people were transported. Fare income in 2006 amounted to € 32.3 million. The shareholders of Verbund GmbH are the independent city of Heilbronn and all districts over which the tariff extends (exception: District Main-Tauber). The Chairman of the Supervisory Board is District Administrator Matthias Neth (Hohenlohekreis).

Since September 26, 1999, the network area has been served by an AVG tram . She first drove from Karlsruhe via Eppingen to Heilbronn main station. From July 2001 it crossed the Heilbronn city center and was expanded to Öhringen on December 10, 2005 . Therefore the integration of the Hohenlohekreis into the HNV became necessary. Both measures led to an increase in passengers on the Heilbronn – Öhringen route. In 2013 and 2014, the Heilbronn light rail network was expanded to the north with two more light rail lines to Sinsheim and Mosbach. An expansion is also being planned to the south.

The area of the transport association borders on the transport association Rhein-Neckar , in which the transport association Main-Tauber is also integrated, with the transport association KreisVerkehr Schwäbisch Hall , with the transport and tariff association Stuttgart and the Karlsruhe transport association .

A future step-by-step adjustment of the tariffs of HNV and Schwäbisch Hall roundabout is to be followed by full integration of the Schwäbisch Hall roundabout.

Shareholding structure

The Hohenlohe district , the city of Heilbronn and the district of Heilbronn each hold 32.5% of the share capital of € 158,500. The Neckar-Odenwald district and the Rhein-Neckar district each hold 0.5% of the share capital, the Schwäbisch Hall district 1.5%.
