The Verkehrsgemeinschaft Landkreis Cham (abbreviated VLC ) is a transport association in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham .

The network covers the area of ​​the Cham district with an area of ​​1,509.96 km² and 130,019 inhabitants (as of March 31, 2007). It includes all bus routes and, since 2002, the three rail routes in this area. In addition, tickets are offered for trips to Bodenwöhr , Schwandorf and Viechtach .

The tariff area is divided into concentric circles with the center Cham (Upper Palatinate) , with exceptions being made on some routes due to the settlement structure. The fares result from the number of circles traveled. Special rates are charged for trips with the city buses in Roding and Cham. Special surcharges are also charged for trips to Bodenwöhr or Schwandorf in the Schwandorf district .

Since July 1, 2011, the spa cards of the municipalities participating in the Guest Service Environment Ticket in the Bayerwald-Ticket tariff area and in the VLC have been used as tickets. The only municipality in the district of Cham participating in this system is Lam. Ten other municipalities in the district introduced the VLC guest card, which is only valid as tickets in the VLC.
