High franc tariff

The Hochfrankentarif (HOT tariff) is a regional tariff community in bus transport in Bavaria . It applies in the following cities and districts:

The tariff continues to apply in parts of the district of Bayreuth and the district of Tirschenreuth . The German Bahn AG is not integrated into the tariff.

The honeycomb tariff was launched on January 1st. Introduced in 2016. It replaced the distance tariff in the Hof district and the honeycomb tariff in the Wunsiedel district. This simplified the tariff, especially for trips between the counties.
