The Verkehrsgemeinschaft Landkreis Deggendorf ( VLD ) is a tariff association for bus transport in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf . The long-term aim is to integrate rail traffic.

Tariff area

The tariff area covers the entire district, as well as the neighboring villages of the neighboring districts of Straubing-Bogen , Freyung-Grafenau , Regen , Passau and Dingolfing-Landau , including the cities of Landau an der Isar and Vilshofen in cross-district traffic.

A total of 3.4 million passengers per year travel on 40 bus routes.

Tariff

Like the neighboring transport communities in the districts of Rottal-Inn ( VGRI ) and Passau ( VLP ), the tariff area is divided into honeycombs. For rail routes in the district, the VLD, together with Deutsche Bahn, only offers weekly and monthly tickets. The same applied to the Bayerwald-Ticket plus tariff , which was discontinued in 2013 and was valid as a day ticket on the Gotteszell – Plattling railway line, but not in the VLD bus service.

The VLD recognizes the various DB AG Bahncard variants. Bahncard 25 and 50 are recognized with a uniform 25% discount on single tickets. The Bahncard 100 is recognized as a ticket. The different variants of the Bayern ticket are also recognized on all VLD bus connections.
