The Stadtgarten Dortmund is an inner-city park and green area in Dortmund .

The park is located southwest of the Dortmund town hall and the city railway station of the same name and is one of the two green spaces within the city's former ramparts .

The city garden was laid out in 1982 for the 1100th city anniversary. To the northeast of the city garden is the Friedensplatz with the town hall .

The center of the park is the juggler fountain designed by Prof. Eberhard Linke . The fountain, which is around 30 meters long and up to 12 meters wide, overcomes a height difference of 4 meters. The water flows in cascades from the spring basin into the lower well basin. The bronze jugglers' figures from which they are named stand here, which spray the well water in different ways. The fountain is often used by children as a paddling and bathing pool in summer.

To the southwest of the juggler fountain there is a skate park for mostly young people .
