City Lexicon Karlsruhe

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Stadtlexikon Karlsruhe is an electronic encyclopedia especially on the history of the city of Karlsruhe . In short, "the most important information on events, institutions, places and people of significance in the city's history" is made available to the general public free of charge via the Internet.

Under the editorship of the Karlsruhe City Archives , namely Ernst Otto Bräunche, Manfred Koch and Volker Steck with the assistance of Angelika Herkert, Ferdinand Leikam, Ariane Rahm and Katja Schmalholz, the city lexicon is to be continuously expanded and updated. Numerous authors have so far written individual articles that provide more detailed information in other articles in the lexicon with blue cross-references.

Changes to the content or wording of the archive by Internet users are not immediately possible. However, the Karlsruhe City Archives expressly welcome “Suggestions for further articles, additions and corrections” on a subpage of the official website of the City of Karlsruhe.
