Career

Lojda showed promising talent on the Junior Tour. He competed in all four youth editions of the Grand Slam tournaments and was able to win the US Open singles at the end of his time as a junior in 2006 . In the final, he beat the Canadian Peter Polansky . After the tournament he was third on his career record.

In 2005 Lojda moved into the top 1000 in the world rankings , a year later he won his first title at the lowest tournament level on the ITF Future Tour . Only a year later he won his first and until the end of his career the only title on the higher endowed ATP Challenger Tour in Prague , when he first defeated two top 100 players and defeated his compatriot Jiří Vaněk in the final. With the title he moved into the top 300 in individual for the first time, from which he flew again by the end of the year. In the years from 2008 to 2015, with the exception of 2013, the Czech was always successful at least twice on the Future Tour. He didn't succeed on the Challenger Tour, in 2009 his only second semi-final is in Banja Luka and shortly afterwards his second final in Seoul . In this most successful time for him, he rose in the rankings up to 161st place in July 2010. At the end of the year, he achieved his only use at the highest tournament level, when he successfully fought his way through three qualifying rounds and was able to take part in the main round of the US Open . There he was clearly defeated by Philipp Petzschner in three sets. In the following years he consistently stayed in the top 300, later mostly in the top 400 and was able to move into a Challenger semi-finals twice before ending his professional career in 2015. In doubles Lojda was able to reach the semi-finals six times in his career on the Challenger Tour, once - in 2013 in Brașov - he was also in his only doubles final. He reached his career high in 2012 with place 285.
