The Wettbergen “Oberes Bergfeld” district cemetery in Hanover on the B 217 federal road , Hamelner Chaussee section , is a cemetery in the Lower Saxony state capital that is only available to a limited extent for future burials . Established by the parish of the - today's district - Wettbergen in the years 1883 and 1914, the small, only 0.26 hectare large green area was transferred to the Hanover administration in 1974, the year Wettbergen was incorporated into Hanover. In 1976 the occupancy was restricted.
