The Kurier is a free newspaper that has been published since 1964 and is distributed in the Karlsruhe region (including the cities of Ettlingen , Bühl , Achern , Bruchsal and Bretten ).

The advertising paper , also known as the Karlsruher Kurier , appears once a week with a total circulation of over 388,000 copies. In addition to advertisements, it contains an extensive editorial section and various sections (service, sport, local, current affairs) with information, event notices, literature and film reviews. The courier is in four colors - rotary printing process produced and usually has a circumference from 36 to 40 pages. The publisher and publisher is Der Kurier Südwestdeutsche Druck- und Verlagsgesellschaft mbH , which is based in the same building as the Badische Latest Nachrichten (BNN). The city of Karlsruhe publishes the city ​​newspaper Karlsruhe in the Karlsruhe edition of the Kurier , the official gazette of the city of Karlsruhe. The StadtZeitung Karlsruhe im Kurier is created by an independent editorial office based in Karlsruhe City Hall. The StadtZeitung Karlsruhe contains all the official announcements and tenders of the city of Karlsruhe, but also reports and information on current events in the city.
