Staffan Tunis (born December 5, 1982 in Vörå , Österbotten ) is a Finnish ski orienteer .

At the Junior World Championships in 2002 Tunis won a silver and a bronze medal in the individual decisions. After his World Cup debut in 2005, he won silver at the European Championships in Ivanovo, Russia, in the relay with Arto Lilja and Teemu Köngäs, his first international medal, and he was third in the 2006 World Cup. At the 2007 World Championships in Moscow, he won the sprint behind the Russians Eduard Chrennikow and Wadim Tolstopjatow the bronze and in the middle distance behind Chrennikow the silver medal. He finished sixth in the long distance. In 2009 in Japan he again won the sprint bronze and middle distance silver, but with Teemu Köngäs and Matti Keskinarkaus gold in the relay. In 2010 he became European champion for the first time with a victory on the long distance and was second in the overall World Cup behind Eduard Chrennikow. In 2011 Staffan Tunis won the world championship in the middle distance and with Olli-Markus Taivainen and Matti Keskinarkaus again in the relay while he won the silver medals in the sprint behind Taivainen and in the long distance behind the Russian Andrei Grigorjew . At the European Championships in Sumy in 2012 , he won the sprint, the long distance and the relay, and he also won the 2011/12 World Cup ahead of Sweden's Peter Arnesson . In 2013 he won one silver and two bronze medals at the European Championships, two bronze medals at the World Championships and silver with Mervi Pesu in the sprint relay.

His sister Pernilla Tunis is also active in orienteering skiing.
