The Stage Bottles are an Oi! Founded in 1993 ! - and punk band from Frankfurt with clearly anti-fascist lyrics.

history

Before they founded Stage Bottles together with Olaf, Alex, Hoschi and Erik played in the band Barbapappas , whose singer had moved away. Olaf had already had some experience as a saxophonist in the band Blaggers ITA . In 1993 they gave their first concert, at their second concert in 1994 the singer Manu joined the band, whose female voice in combination with Olaf's saxophone became one of the band's trademarks in the following years. Over the years the band has had a slightly changing line-up, but this has not changed the musical character of the band significantly.

The Stage Bottles continue to give regular concerts in Germany and abroad (Europe, USA, Canada, Russia).

style

The Stage Bottles play experimental punk rock with borrowings from Ska and Reggae , the lyrics of the band are in English and often very fun, but also in some cases clearly anti-fascist and working class class struggle.
