The Stagnant Glacier ( English for resting glacier ) is a glacier on the coast of the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson-Land . It is located southeast of Ritchie Point and east of the Jetty Peninsula on the western edge of the Amery Ice Shelf .
Apparently Russian scientists made the naming.
