Stala & SO.
Stala & SO. is a Finnish glam rock band formed in 1997 by the Finnish musician Sampsa Astala ( Stala ), a former member of the Finnish band Lordi .
In 2011 they applied with their song Pamela for the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf . However, they lost the preliminary round against the singer Paradise Oskar with the song Da Da Dam.
The band is currently under contract with the British music label Escape Music Ltd.
style
The musical style of Stala & SO. is very much oriented towards the glam rock bands of the 1980s and 1970s . Stala himself named Slade , T. Rex , the Ziggy Stardustera and David Bowie as stylistic models. The band is also known for their melodic rock music and positive charisma.
