The standing ring Inlet is a 15km long and icy bay at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the easternmost of the three bays on the north side of the Jason Peninsula .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) mapped them in 1953. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1956 after Anthony John Standring (1927 – before 2011), FIDS geologist at the Hope Bay station in 1953 and 1954, who was involved in surveying the Jason Peninsula.
