The Stanstead Mill Stream is a watercourse in Hertfordshire , England . It is a tributary of the River Lea . It separates southeast of the mouth of the River Ash in the northeast from the main arm, which is also divided in this area by a canal arm in the southwest. The Stanstead Mill Stream initially runs along the Amwell Nature Reserve in a southeastern direction. It then flows through Standstead Abbots to flow back into the River Lea at the southern end of the village.
