Stanisław Julian Ignacy Ostroróg
Stanisław Julian Ignacy Ostroróg , pseudonym Lucien Walery (born September 12, 1863 in London ; died February 22, 1929 ) was a French photographer. Among other things, portraits and nudes have come down to us from his work .
He was the son of the photographer Stanislaw Julian Ostroróg (1836-1896) and his wife Teodozja Waleria nee Gwozdecka.
After the death of his father, he took over the Walery company. From 1890 to 1900 he worked with Alfred Ellis (1854-1930) (Ellis and Walery). In 1900 he opened a studio in Paris on rue de Londres. He became known for his portrait series "Our Celebrities", published from 1888 to 1896.
After his death, the studio was taken over by Charles Auguste Varsavaux (1866–1935).
