Stanisław Waśkiewicz
Stanisław Waśkiewicz (born September 9, 1947 in Drzewica , Poland , † September 28, 2012 in Streamwood , Illinois ) was a Polish middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
He won three medals with the Polish team at the European Indoor Athletics Championships: silver in the mixed relay in 1970 in Vienna and bronze in the 4-by-720-meter relay in 1972 in Grenoble .
He set his personal best of 1: 46.8 minutes on June 28, 1971 in Warsaw .
In 1970 and 1972 he was Polish champion.
