Stanislaw Wilk
Stanisław Wilk SDB (born May 18, 1944 in Straszowa Wola , near Opoczno ) is the rector of the Catholic University of Lublin .
In 1959 he entered the novitiate of the Salesians of Don Bosco and made his first profession the following year. After completing his philosophical and theological studies, he was ordained a priest in 1969. A student at the Catholic University of Lubin himself, he obtained his master's degree and licentiate degree there in 1972, his doctorate in 1982 and his habilitation in 1993. From 1993 to 1996 he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Theology, from 1996 to 2004 Vice Rector and since 2004 Rector of this university.
His research interests lie in the history of the Church in Poland and the history of the Salesians of Don Bosco.
