Under a stannosis (synonym: Zinnstaublunge , engl. : Stannosis ) refers to pathological changes in the lung caused by chronic exposure compared to tin dust (pneumoconiosis by the inhalation of tin dust) are formed. Stannosis is one of the rare - non-fibrosing - pneumoconioses .
Tin and its inorganic compounds such as tin (II) oxide , tin (II, IV) oxide , tin (IV) oxide are among the substances for which there are currently no MAK- due to a lack of experience in humans and in animal experiments. Values can be established.
