Stardust was a French music project in the late 1990s consisting of daft punk member Thomas Bangalter , singer Benjamin Diamond, and producer Alan Braxe (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke). They are assigned to the French House .

The only release of the trio in 1998 was the single Music Sounds Better with You , which is considered the world's best-selling track of house music. Immediately after this single, the three musicians parted ways, although Bangalter was offered $ 3 million to produce an entire Stardust album .

The sample used on Music Sounds Better with You is from the second bar of Chaka Khan's Fate from the 1981 album What Cha 'Gonna Do for Me .
