The Start Hill is a 265 m high hill in the west of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is the highest point in Dospey Heights on the Byers Peninsula .
Chilean scientists named it in 1971 based on the naming of the headland of the same name as Cerro Start . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 1978.
