The Stassower See is located southwest of the Alt Stassow district of the Grammow municipality in the Rostock district , right next to the A 20 . The western shore of the lake forms the municipal boundary to Thelkow . The lake has a north-south extension of about 410 meters and a west-east extension of about 270 meters. The northern shore of the lake is boggy.
