Georgia Chamberlain is a young actress with a decidedly large ego. Together with her best friend Jo, a scientist, she moves to New York City to try her luck as an actress. With their aunt Honey they find a piece of home, because Honey was a good friend of Georgia's late mother. Georgia's ex-boyfriend Luke, who is still secretly in love with her, comes to New York and wants to bring her and Jo back home.
