Statues is the fourth studio album by the band Moloko .
Song info
Before this album, Róisín Murphy and Mark Brydon ended their private relationship. The songs are about pain (“Forever More”), grief (“Statues” and “Over & Over”), but also having fun (“Come On” and “100%”). The album was produced by Mark Brydon and arranged by live keyboardists Eddie Stevens and Mark Brydon.
Trivia
"Statues" also includes a DVD with all of the duo's music videos. The album reached number 12 and number 18 in the German and English charts. It is the band's most successful album. For the promotion they went on tour through Europe and Australia for almost 18 months.
