history
The band was founded in 1989 under the name "Ankry Simons", but with the release of the first record Godpill renamed itself to "Steakknife". The band had a number of line-up changes, including: Joke (guitar, 1991), Hebbel (bass, 1991–1993), Trixi Poodle (bass, 1996), Thomas H. (bass, guitar, 1991–1997) and Rocket A. Polle (guitar, vocals, 1993-2002). From 2002 the occupation remained stable.
