Steal This Film is a series of filmsdocumentingthe movement against intellectual property . The first part looks at the people in the Swedish piracy scene: The Pirate Bay , Piratbyrån and the Pirate Party . Swedish is sometimes spoken in the film, but always with English subtitles.
Various interviews are conducted in the film. Among other things, with Swedish youths who express their opinion on the confiscation and with members of Piratbyrån and the Pirate Party . In particular, mention is made of the political implications of the illegal seizure of the servers at Pirate Bay in Sweden by the Swedish police. This action came under pressure from the American government, under threat of economic sanctions from the World Trade Organization .
