Haage is a formerly independent municipality and part of the municipality of Mühlenberge in the Havelland district in Brandenburg .

geography

Haage is in the Havelland; west of Berlin, north of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel in the state of Brandenburg . Since December 31, 2002, Haage is no longer an independent municipality, but part of the municipality of Mühlenberge . Mühlenberge is part of the Friesack office in the Havelland district . The mayor is Matthias G. Rehder.

In addition to its history, Haage owes its importance to its forest activities and the seat of the responsible forest administration. Its location on the edge of extensive forests also makes the village currently a place with a high quality of living.

history

The oldest mention of Haage goes back to 1307.

The von Bredow family mansion was demolished in 1987.

On July 7, 2007, Haage celebrated the 700th anniversary of its oldest recorded mention with a folk festival.

Forestry oak
  • The church with its elaborate interior made of dark oak. It was originally located in the Döberitz village church, which was built from 1712 to 1713 instead of the previous building. As a result of the evacuation of the village, the interior was first transferred to Ferbitz and, after its evacuation in the 1930s, to Haage.
Hague Church
  • There are numerous natural monuments in Haage, such as the more than 220 year old forest oak

From April 2, 1900 to April 1, 1961, Haage was a stop on the Rathenow-Senzke-Nauen district railway .
