Steel Venom in Valleyfair! ( Shakopee , Minnesota , USA ) is a shuttle - steel coaster on the model Impulse Coaster Twist & Spike the manufacturer Intamin , which opened on May 17 of 2003.
On the 192 m long route, the train is accelerated to a speed of around 110 km / h by means of linear induction motors . The train reaches a maximum height of 53 m with a rail height of 56 m. The two towers in front of and behind the station have a gradient of 90 °. Unlike Wicked Twister at Cedar Point only the tower in the direction of travel is twisted ( twisted ), while the other tower has a straight line. The train is briefly stopped on the last passage on the straight tower.
