Stefán Júlíusson
Stefán Júlíusson (born September 25, 1915 , † February 20, 2002 ) was an Icelandic writer. He wrote under the pseudonym Sveinn Auðunn Sveinsson .
Life
He grew up in Hafnarfjörður and attended secondary school. Stefán passed a teacher’s exam and then studied education in the USA and at the University of Iceland . He completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature. In Hafnarfjörður he worked as a teacher from 1936 to 1963. From 1963 to 1969 he worked as head of the state image office . He was then a national literature consultant.
Stefán wrote biographies, travel reports and worked as a translator. He has also published volumes of stories and books for children and young people.
