Stefan Bütikofer
Stefan Bütikofer (born October 31, 1978 ; resident in Zuzwil BE ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).
Life
Stefan Bütikofer studied history and philosophy at the University of Bern . He works as a high school teacher at the Biel-Seeland high school in Biel / Bienne .
politics
In 2000 Bütikofer was elected to the large municipal council (legislature) of Lyss municipality , to which he belonged until 2013. In January 2018 he was elected to succeed Margrit Junker Burkhard in the Lyss municipal council (executive) and took over the social and youth department. His election to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern followed in June 2018 .
