Margrit Junker Burkhard

Margrit Junker Burkhard (born November 15, 1957 ; resident in Rapperswil BE and Sumiswald ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Margrit Junker Burkhard did a commercial apprenticeship at the Rapperswil community writing office. It was in 1993 by the non-election of Christiane Brunner in the Federal politicized and joined the Social Democratic Party at. Margrit Junker Burkhard is married and has two sons.

From 1996 to 2006 Margrit Junker Burkhard was a member of the large municipal council (legislature) of Lyss . In 2006, Junker Burkhard was elected to the municipal council (executive) of Lyss and took over the social and youth department. In the 2017 municipal elections, Junker Burkhard was re-elected. Due to a party-internal term of office, she could only have taken office if she had won the election for the municipal council at the same time. Your successor as councilor is Stefan Bütikofer (SP).

In 2014, Margrit Junker Burkhard was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , where she was a member of the Justice Commission and, from 2017, the Health and Social Commission. Junker Burkhard was re-elected in 2018 and has been a member of the Health and Social Commission since then.

Margrit Junker Burkhard is president of the Spitex- Verein Seeland and the school board of the BWZ vocational and further training center Lyss. She is vice-president of the SP Canton Bern and SP Lyss.
