Stefan Bareła

Stefan Bareła (born June 24, 1916 in Zapolice ; † February 12, 1984 in Częstochowa ) was Bishop of Częstochowa ( Czestochowa ).

Life

He was ordained a priest on March 25, 1944 by Teodor Kubina , Bishop of Częstochowa .

Pope John XXIII appointed him on October 26, 1960 auxiliary bishop in Częstochowa and at the same time titular bishop of Hyllarima .
