Stefan Behringer

Stefan Behringer (born September 19, 1969 in Cologne ) is a German economist .

Live and act

Behringer is President of the Nordakademie , a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences based in Elmshorn . He also holds a professorship for controlling and corporate governance at the Nordakademie. Before that, Behringer was a professor and dean at the EBC Hochschule Hamburg based in Hamburg. After studying business administration and doing a doctorate at the University of Cologne , the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Flensburg , he worked for ten years in various positions at Deutsche Post AG and Olympus Europa Holding GmbH in the areas of controlling and corporate governance . He is the author of books and specialist articles in the fields of compliance , controlling and financing / company valuation. Since 2012 he has been editor-in-chief of the magazine Risk, Fraud & Compliance (ZRFC).
