Stefan Bergmeister (born July 18, 1996 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Stefan Bergmeister started his career in 2002 at SV Thiersee . In the 2007/08 season he played in the U-13s of FC Kufstein , before moving to the youth boarding school of FC Red Bull Salzburg in July 2008 . There he went through all stations from the U-13 to the U-18 of the academy. During this time Stefan Bergmeister was part of the Austrian U-15, U-16 and U-17 national team.
In 2013 he moved to Germany to the 1. FC Nürnberg youth center . There he became champion in the U-19 Bayernliga in 2013/14 and played in the promotion season 2014/15 as captain for 1. FC Nürnberg in the U-19 Bundesliga South / Southwest. In October 2014 he made his debut for the second team in the regional league.
For the 2016/17 season Bergmeister returned to Austria, where he joined the second division club SC Austria Lustenau . He made his second division debut on matchday eight against SC Wiener Neustadt when he came on for Bruno Souza in the 82nd minute .
In July 2017 he switched to league competitor Floridsdorfer AC on loan .
For the 2018/19 season he moved to the regional division FC Kufstein .
