Stefan C. Müller

Stefan C. Müller (* 1952 in Kronach / Upper Franconia) is a German urologist .

Life

Stefan C. Müller studied medicine at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . In March 1978, his doctorate he histological changes of lung parenchyma after irradiation with 60 Co . After working as an assistant surgical doctor in, he moved to Los Angeles and Baltimore for a year and a half and completed his training as a urologist in Mainz in 1985. After working at the University Clinic in San Francisco , he was senior consultant at the Clinic for Urology and private lecturer at the University Clinic Mainz from 1990 to 1994.

1994 Stefan C. Müller received a reputation as a professor of the Department of Urology at the University of Bonn. In 2006 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Jvane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He also holds a visiting professorship at the University of Ancona, Italy.

Stefan C. Müller is married and has three children.

Act

Stefan C. Müller's work focuses on operative oncology (kidney, prostate, bladder and testicles), variations in urinary diversions, reconstructions of the external genitals, stone therapy and pediatric urology. Research focuses on the causes of urinary stones and prognostic factors for prostate cancer.

Among other things, he received the Maximilian Nitze Prize of the German Society for Urology in 1999 . In 2003/2004 he headed the advanced and advanced training resort of the German Society for Urology (DGU). In 2009 he took over the office of 2nd Vice President of the DGU and in 2012 will host the 64th Annual Meeting of the DGU.
