Stefan Dornbusch

Stefan Dornbusch (* 1963 in Würzburg ) is a German artist and architect . He lives in Berlin .

Life

After studying architecture at the Technical University of Munich , he worked as an architect for several years. He then studied fine arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (now UdK ) with Karlheinz Biederbick , Lothar Fischer and Rolf Szymanski . He completed this course as a master class student . He is a member of the German Association of Artists and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Artistic works on the space alternate with architectural commissions and competitions. Dornbusch teaches as a professor for design principles at the Trier University of Applied Sciences .

Awards

  • 1994: Art Prize of the City of Augsburg (in the visual arts category )
  • 1998: 1st prize from Galerie Nuova Icona and Künstlerhaus Bethanien , Progetto Venezia '98 (together with the sculptor Olf Kreisel )
