Stefan Finke

Stefan Finke (born May 20, 1963 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer .

Life

Stefan Finke studied empirical cultural studies and German studies , general rhetoric and philosophy in Tübingen , attended creative writing seminars at the ETH Zurich , the literature and theater studio at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and graduated from the German Literature Institute in Leipzig .

Numerous journalistic works, radio plays, theater texts, short prose publications. Stefan Finke's radio plays have so far been produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk , SWR , WDR and Radio Bremen .

In 2006 Finke received a scholarship from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . The radio play Tomatoes for Bristol. A Requiem was a WDR competition entry for the 2004 CIVIS Prize , the play Landmetzgerei Hümmel was invited to the TT05 Stückemarkt at the Berlin Festival in 2005, in 1995 it received the FOGLIO Literature Prize and in 2006 the PRIX Hörverlag . Most recently, Stefan Finke received the Klagenfurt Theater Prize in 2010.
