Stefan Hallberg (* 1948 ) is a German pop singer, musician and book author.

Life

Stefan Hallberg began his career as a pop singer in the 1970s. He performed, among other things, in the talent shed and released his first single in 1975. In addition, Hallberg completed an acting training.

In 1979 he became famous in German-speaking countries with the hit Wer wird Deutscher Meister? - HSV! known, a cover version of the Leif Garrett hit I Was Made for Dancin ' from 1978, which referred to the football club Hamburger SV . After HSV won the championship, the title line changed to Who is German Champion? HSV .

In 1980 Hallberg entered the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson with the song Give us time and finished in 11th place. In 1983 he founded his own record company "exxis records" and worked for them full-time.
