Stefan Kettner

Stefan Kettner (born August 6, 1887 in Frauenkirchen ; † June 29, 1957 there ) was an Austrian foreman and politician ( SPÖ ). Kettner was married and from 1946 to 1948 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Stefan Kettner was born as the son of the bricklayer Michael Kettner from Frauenkirchen. He attended elementary school in Frauenkirchen and then worked as a bricklayer. Kettner did his military service between 1914 and 1918 and then worked again in the profession he had learned. In the Second World War, Kettner was conscripted as a bricklayer and most recently as a senior foreman. Kettner was already involved in the construction workers' union in the 1st republic and from 1945 worked in the SPÖ district group Neusiedl am See. Between June 29, 1946 and July 26, 1948, he held a state parliament mandate for the SPÖ and retired in 1952.
