Stefan Müller (born February 24, 1990 in Augsburg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Müller, who comes from Donauwörth-Schäfstall , played up to the B-youth with the local JFG Donauwörth and then moved to FC Augsburg . After only one year he left the Fuggerstadt team again because he had got a place as an industrial engineer at the University of Applied Sciences in Ingolstadt and therefore gave in to FC Ingolstadt's attempts to poach him.

Although still eligible to play for the A-youth, the striker quickly played his way into the second team of the "Schanzer" in the Bayern League and scored eight goals in his first year. In addition, the second division team was used in test matches and took part in the professionals' winter training camp. On the last day of the 2008/09 season he even got his first appearance in the first team. The game was meaningless, because the Ingolstadt team had already been relegated to the 3rd division .

In the following two seasons, however, Stefan Müller did not make a breakthrough. Although he remained a regular player in the Bayernliga team, he only made two short appearances in the 3rd division and after being promoted again he was not used in the second-highest division in 2010/11.
